Services

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. When you make a booking, you accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure that all of the details on your confirmation documents are correct and to bring to our attention any errors or discrepancies within 48 hours of your booking.

Acts of God

 

We recommend you seek independent advice regarding appropriate insurance policies.

 

Amenities

 

Please refer to the site map for the location of amenity buildings. Hot water is available for showers, washing machines and basins. Please consider others, limit showers and help conserve water.

 

The amenity blocks are cleaned daily and may be closed at these times. Please refer to the signs at each facility for cleaning hours, with other times as required.

 

Children under 12 years old must be supervised by an adult.

 

Assistance Animals

 

 

Behaviour

 

Disturbance to other Willowbank Caravan Park & Motel guests and neighbours including excessive noise and music is prohibited and may result in eviction without refund. If a noise complaint is received a first warning will be given, if a second complaint is received this will result in immediate eviction with no refund.

 

Bikes, ride-on equipment and motorised toys

 

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, only standard bikes and scooters are allowed to be ridden in the park during daylight hours. Road rules must be observed and a safety helmet worn at all times, as required by Queensland law. They must also NOT exceed the 10KPH park road rules.

Reservations are subject to availability and actual pricing at the time of booking. You agree to pay the rate for each night of your stay and any additional charges up until the time you have departed the accommodation. The accommodation may be occupied by you only for the period stated on the booking confirmation.

 

Breach of terms and conditions

 

You agree that, should you or your guests breach any of the terms and conditions You will pay to us the total loss or damage that we suffer as a result of that breach and hereby authorise us to debit your credit card or apply your refundable deposit in payment of that loss or damage and we may evict you and your guests without notice.

Change beyond our control

Compensation will not apply if a significant change is made for reasons beyond our control. These include: war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, flood, epidemics, health risks, changes due to rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or alteration of the airline or aircraft type; closed or congested airports or ports, cyclones and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, act of government or public authorities or other circumstances amounting to force measure and/or Acts of God. We recommend you seek independent advice regarding appropriate insurance policies.

Sites – 11am

Ensuites – 12pm

Motel / Cabins – 2pm

 

Check-out time

10am

Occupancy after this time will be charged as an additional day.

 

Late check outs – depend on availability. See reception for fees and availability. Site fees are calculated until 10am on the day of departure. If your travel arrangements are inconvenienced by these times, please contact reception to make alternative arrangements.

 

Chemical dump point

 

There is NO dump point currently at Willowbank Caravan Park and Motel Dumping of toilet waste in any other area of the park is strictly prohibited.  Local dump points are at:

 

Ipswich Showgrounds, 81 Warwick Road, Ipswich

Boonah Showgrounds, Cnr Cossart & Melbourne St, Boonah

Laidley Swimming Pool, John St, Laidley

Fernvale, Clive Street Fernvale

 

Children

Supervising children is vital for their safety and helps make sure they do not disturb other guests.  Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult when visiting the amenities, swimming pool and all other park facilities.

 

Commercial Use

The property is not to be used for commercial use without written permission from Coopers RD Properties Pty Ltd.

 

Conditions of entry

 

As part of the conditions of entry to our park, guests are to abide by these terms and conditions.

Evacuation procedures

 

In an emergency, follow the directions of staff. If we need to evacuate the park make your way directly to our evacuation area – marked ‘Assembly area’ on the map.

 

Fees

 

Fees must be paid in advance.

 

Garbage/litter

Please help us look after our environment by using the rubbish and recycling bins located throughout the park for your convenience. Wrap all garbage prior to disposal.

 

Information

 

For local information, where to eat, activities, events, how to get around and service providers ask our friendly staff in reception.

 

Kiosk

 

Open daily 8am – 6pm (unless signed)

The kiosk stocks a variety of grocery items, frozen meals, toiletries, milk, bread, ice, papers, lollies, cold drinks, ice creams, etc.

 

Laundry

 

There are coin-operated machines and dryers in the main amenity blocks. They take $1 coins – change and washing powder is available from reception. Irons and ironing boards are free. Collect clothes from washing lines when dry and remove washing from machines when cycle finishes. Washing dishes is not permitted in the laundry.

 

Liabilities

 

You acknowledge that we do not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss, additional expenses and disruptions due to electrical storms or other acts of God caused directly or indirectly by events, which are beyond our control and agree not to make any claim in relation thereto.

Lost and found

 

Report lost or found items immediately to reception.

 

Motel / Cabin Accommodation

 

Please report all damage, breakages and losses promptly to our park reception. We ask you to please leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy state. Rubbish should be placed neatly in bins provided (in the accommodation and throughout the park). All washing up to be done and put away clean. Additional cleaning charges and full replacement costs may apply where furniture and equipment is not left as originally found or the accommodation condition on departure is unacceptable. Guests are responsible for the safekeeping and replacement of lost keys.

 

Noise

 

Quiet time is between 10pm to 7am. Consider your neighbours by keeping the volume down on radios, televisions and social gatherings. Excessive noise or abusive language will not be tolerated and can result in guests or visitors being asked to leave immediately.

 

NO TENANCY

 

You agree that regardless of your length of stay in there is no tenancy or other rights created under any Landlord and Tenant laws and there are no such laws that apply to your stay.

 

 

Number of Guests

At no time during your occupancy is the number of guests staying to exceed the number booked, unless prior approval is sought and given by management. The use of extra beds other than the number booked will attract an additional tariff. Any persons exceeding the maximum occupancy of the property will be required to leave immediately.

 

Payment Options

 

Payments are accepted by Cash, Visa, MasterCard or Debit Card. All payments are only accepted in Australian dollars. Payments can be accepted via direct deposit when approved by management and must be received in full 7 working days prior to your arrival.

 

Payment Policy

 

First night payment is required on booking with full payment required 7 days before arrival. If payment is not received by the due date notified, Willowbank Caravan Park & Motel reserves the right to cancel the booking without notice.

 

Personal information

 

We are required to comply with the Information Privacy Act 2009. Any information you have supplied to us is only used for the purpose that it was collected for. We will not disclose your personal information (including confirming whether or not you are staying in the park) to any person. Should anyone wish to visit you while you are staying in the park, we recommend you contact them to advise where you are located in the park, as we will not pass on this information.

 

Pets

 

Pet friendly powered / un-powered sites only.  No pets in our cabins and motel.  This excludes event period, where NO pets are allowed with exception of Assistance Animals.

 

Placement of caravans

 

We can assist you if required to place your caravan on your site. To comply with fire regulations, all vans MUST have the drawbar facing toward the road.

 

Reception

 

Current open hours are Monday – Saturday 8:00am – 6:00pm and Sunday 8:00am – 5:00pm. For emergency assistance outside office hours, please use the night bell located at the reception entrance door or contact our on call team on phone number 07 5464 3166.

 

Security

 

We’d like your stay to be enjoyable. Your security is important to us. We recommend you keep your possessions, vehicles and accommodation safely secured at all times. If you have any concerns speak to one of our friendly staff.

 

Site cleanliness and boundaries

 

Please keep your site tidy and use the facilities provided to dry clothes, discharge sullage water and dispose of rubbish. Make sure your caravan, car and camping equipment stay within your site boundaries. Ropes or fastenings must not be tied to trees, fences or park structures.

It is your responsibility to position your camping equipment so that your vehicle fits on your site. If it doesn’t fit, it must be parked outside the park.

 

Smoking / Drug Use

 

Smoking/vaping and/or Drug use inside any non-designated smoking area is strictly prohibited this includes all smoking/vaping products and drug/drug paraphernalia.  If there is any evidence of smoking/vaping/drug use or paraphernalia inside room/cabin, you will be charged an additional $500 for a specialised clean to eliminate odours. Please ensure doors and windows are closed if smoking/vaping near rooms.  We reserve the right to notify relevant authorities.

 

Swimming pools

Pool hours are signed at each pool area. Management reserves the right to change and amend hours as necessary for the safety of park guests.

Willowbank Caravan Park & Motel pool does NOT have a LIFEGUARD on duty and usage of the pool is at the risk of the consumer.  The pool is NOT heated. For your safety and the comfort of all please note:

  • no glass, smoking, vaping or alcohol

  • no diving / running / bombing

  • no food in pool area

  • no violent behaviour or vulgar language

  • pool gate must remain closed at all times

  • no animals in pool area

  • pool furniture is not to be removed from the area

  • all rubbish is to be placed in the bin

 

Swimming Pool is LOCKED and CLOSED during CMC and large events

 

Vehicles – drive with care

 

The safety of all guests is vital. Please adhere to the ten (10) kilometer speed limit (walking pace) within the park. Park roads are shared zones. Please follow all road signage and give way to pedestrians.

Site fees include one vehicle only. Additional vehicles can be parked in the visitors’ car park.

 

Water conservation

 

Please conserve water by keeping your showers short and reporting leaking taps to our reception staff.
